My Story

Having worked with The Salvation Army for nearly 30 years, I have always had a heart for people. About 15 years ago I discovered the world of patchwork and quilting and fell heart first into loving everything about it.

When my husband and I retired in early 2020, I thought this might be my chance to continue to be amongst people and spread my wings into another area I love.

Then Covid-19 hit….and we all know what a challenge that has been for all of us, especially those of us living in Victoria. Even though it has been challenging, I am very thankful as it gave me time to get stuck into my garden and think….and it has taken me nearly the whole of 2020 to convince myself I can do this, and so here I am, putting myself out there!

The photo (above ) shows myself with my husband (Steve) of nearly 46 years. We have two sons, all grown up of course, a daughter in-law and an amazing grandson.

Please check out my facebook page, offer any comments and suggestions. Share a photo of your work and let us know what you are doing. You could even ask a question or two and though I might not be able to help, I’m sure someone out there will be.

Bless you all, and hope to see you at your place soon,

Marj

Quilting on the run

Invite me to your Quilting Group

If you have a group of ladies who get together for fun, friendship and patchworking please invite me to your group and I will donate a percentage of fabric sales back to you.

Please Note: While we would rather not travel beyond a 50km radius from Clyde North Victoria, we are open to negotiation.
